L’arche communities
|
L’Arche is an international Christian community, welcoming people from all spiritual paths to share the daily life of those with an intellectual disability, in the spirit of the Beatitudes. L’Arche believes in the dignity of every person.
Central to this life is relationship built on trust, compassion, forgiveness and an openness to love. L’Arche takes the Beatitudes as foundational and a source of life. They seek to help each other grow and develop towards their full potential. They do this by recognising and responding to the gifts of each person and creating a community of hope where true autonomy can exist and inter-dependency can be encouraged.

Young Christian Workers Brisbane |
The Young Christian Workers offers young adults who have left school the opportunity to participate in an Action Reflection process each week.
The value of each worker is an important part of the YCW belief system, and to fulfil the YCW mission of faith we are currently outreaching to young people who are unemployed or casual workers. On a broader base we work collectively to bring about change for these young people.
